The student research group ME-Learn (Medical Education-Learn) primarily consists of medical students from the University of Hamburg. It is led by three medical students: Michail Mordvintsev, Henry Risch and Ben Lücking. Their goal is to support fellow students in their learning process through evidence-based learning methods, aiming to promote a more sustainable and effective way of learning.

Michail Mordvintsev
I have been studying medicine at the University of Hamburg since 2020. I came into contact with the science of learning early on, and I am fascinated by this field—especially its connection to professional sports. I am also passionate about within-subject design studies.
Henry Risch
I have been studying medicine at the University of Hamburg since 2020, supported by a Deutschland-stipendium scholarship. Since my school days, I have been engaged in optimizing my learning behavior. This allows me to study successfully while still having plenty of time for football and other hobbies.
Ben Lücking
I have been studying medicine at the University of Hamburg since October 2021 and am supported by a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). By applying scientifically grounded learning methods, I became one of the top four students in my semester.
Aslan Kawish
I have been studying medicine at the University of Hamburg since 2020 and realized early on how important it is to develop efficient learning methods in order to acquire a large amount of knowledge in a short time. This allows me to be successful in my studies while still having enough time for other interests and activities in life. I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in medical education research.

Aurelius Munzel
I have been studying medicine at the University of Hamburg since October 2021. I will start my doctoral thesis in the upcoming semester. Besides my studies, I enjoy learning new languages and have been exploring effective learning methods for some time. I am looking forward to furthering my education in this area and sharing my knowledge with you!

Constantin Möller
I have been studying medicine at the University of Hamburg since 2018. In order to have time alongside my studies for various research projects in cell and gene therapy as well as neuropathology, I have long been engaged with effective learning methods—and I am now excited to share this knowledge with others.

Hanna Wallner
Since 2022, I have been studying medicine at the University of Hamburg and am currently writing my doctoral thesis on the topic of Active Recall. My focus is on the implementation of evidence-based learning methods in the clinical setting.

I have been studying medicine at the University of Hamburg since 2018, and I am particularly fascinated by within-subject design studies.

Ornella Falke
I have been studying medicine at the University of Hamburg since October 2023 and quickly realized how important effective learning strategies are to ensure long-term retention of knowledge. By using the evidence-based methods of ME-Learn, I was able to significantly improve my own learning success and now want to pass this knowledge on to school pupils and students.
Rieke Freudenstein
I have been studying medicine at the University of Hamburg since 2023 and am a scholarship holder of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). I am especially excited to help shape ME-Learn’s social media presence in order to provide accessible information about effective learning methods and promote equal opportunities.
